Las Salinas

Salinas beach forms the southernmost part of the island. It is named after the salty seas in south Ibiza. It is a popular hangout for celebrities and is a real favorite for soccer players. The water is clear as glass and it is exhilarating to get out and walk for a bit, given the Ibiza Wildlife Conservation Area borders next to it. Salinas is also enormously popular for people into the clubbing scene. There are always well-known DJs spinning at beach clubs like the Jockey Club, or Sa Trinxa, while your cocktail gets brought out to you at your lounge bed. It is sure to give that ideal summer feeling!

On the outer right extreme of the beach, there is a sailing school where you can rent a catamaran or take kite-surfing lessons. A friendly young English-Ibizan fellow operates these. To conclude, take heed: as was the case with Es Cavallet, it can get jammed packed with crowds here  during peak season, including a more frequent line-up of venders and merchants who want nothing  more than to pitch a sale to make a quick buck! Las Salinas is also the spot where a lot of rental boats are docked.
